Intercultural Passport Program
The Intercultural Passport program is a faculty and staff development project created
to increase awareness of global and societal issues.
Each Century employee receives an Intercultural Passport with their name,
department, and photo. When they attend a qualifying event, they receive a stamp in one of the following
eight categories:
- Behavioral Health
- Spirituality
- Nationality/Ethnicity
- Socio-economic
- Gender
- Sexual Orientation
- Differently Abled
- Other
In addition to learning new information in these categories, employees can use their
stamps to earn incentives. Several employees choose to make the Passport Program a part
of their professional development plans.
Levels of Achievement
There are 3 Levels of Achievement:
- Level 1: 10 hours in 3+ categories
- Level 2: 20 hours in 5+ categories
- Level 3: 30 hours in 7+ categories
Rewards
Rewards are given at each level, and hours are cumulative.
- Level One: 10 hours = 10 stamps in 3 or more categories
- 1st level door sticker and certificate
- Tote and mug with Intercultural Passport logo
- Level Two: 20 hours = 20 stamps in 5 or more categories
- 2nd level door sticker and certificate
- Clock with photo frame
- Level Three: 30 hours = 30 stamps in 7 or more categories
- 3rd level sticker and certificate
- Paper weight with Passport logo
- Small group lunch with College President
Awards will be presented at the Celebrate Century Event in the spring.
