Bret DeGayner

Coach DeGayner is a USSF Nationally Licensed soccer coach who has been coaching for nine years, and whose teams have earned several championships, including league championships, tournament championships and the USA Cup. In addition to his National License, Coach DeGayner has earned the USSF goal keeper diploma, the Coerver Youth Diploma, and continues to be an active student of coaching, attending symposiums and coach training throughout the year.

As a full-time soccer professional, in the off season Coach DeGayner works as a trainer for the NSC Youth Academy, ProConnect Soccer, Dragon Soccer and trains home schooled youth players. He is on the Board of Directors of a local soccer club and coaches two youth teams each summer. He is an ambassador of the game and is involved in an outreach program that provides training, equipment and supplies to youth players in Ghana and is working to build permanent soccer training facilities so that the Ghanaian players can reach their full potential.

Coach DeGayner continues to play in adult leagues and believes that the best way to relate to the challenges that players face is to encounter them himself.

Coach DeGayner states, "My mission at Century College is to create an atmosphere where players can thrive, especially if they are dedicated to moving on to play at a four-year program, but also for those who are just looking to play for the love of the game. Either way, your experience playing at Century College will be challenging, rewarding and fulfilling. We have a lot of fun, but we are also very competitive. That’s my vision of how the game should be played."

"Please text or call me with any questions you might have. Thank you!"
