Department of Human Services Child Welfare Foundation Training

Overview: DHS conducts classroom training for new child welfare workers on a regular basis. Providing online foundation training prior to classroom training will allow additional time in class for specific content and practice of skills. New workers will be able to take foundation training online as soon as they start, rather than waiting for a cohort of new employees to begin classroom training.

Audience: New child welfare workers throughout the state of Minnesota.

eMagine Role: Currently collaborating with DHS subject matter and curriculum experts to create instructional design, produce scripts, record audio, and develop content in flash files for complete eLearning tutorials.

Delivery: Will be available within DHS proprietary LMS.

Results: Ten Interactive, self-instructional eLearning course with self-checks and tracked post-test.
