Taught by expert instructors skilled in the areas of adult-learning, leadership development and intercultural relations, our certificate integrates intercultural knowledge, skill sets, and mindset activities.

Our certificate is appropriate for current or prospective leaders at all levels of an organization.

Interactive learning activities include:

In our learning environment, the cultural differences of all participants are appreciated, as we mutually learn about those differences.

At the completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate.
A transcript of all completed continuing education courses will also be available.

Certificate objectives

In our program, you will:

2. Expand your awareness of culture-related factors influencing communication and behavior.
3. Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of intercultural communication concepts and skills.

Certificate requirements

Level 1 – 24 hours, Level 2 – 48 hours

Courses can be taken in any order.

  Level – 3 hours

  Level – 3 hours
• Intercultural Communication Strategies – 3 hours
• Intercultural Tools and Techniques – 3 hours
• Generational Diversity in the Workplace – 4 hours
• Intercultural Conflict Style Assessment – 3 hours
• Becoming a Skillful Intercultural Trainer – 3 hours
• Customer Service Skills for Global Business – 4 hours
• Strategies for Volunteering with Non-Native English
  Speakers – 3 hours
• Special Topics class: to be determined – 3 or 4 hours
