In this entry-level online course, you will learn how to file medical insurance claims accurately.
While most of the class is conducted via an online chat room on Monday and Wednesday evenings, there are
two classroom workshops that are held at Century College on Wednesday evenings.

- Coordination of benefits
- Basic coding
- Filing HCFA and UB92 claims
- Handling claim rejections
- Explanation of benefits

Our Medical Billing "hybrid" course was specifically developed for CECT at Century College.
Advantages of a blended course are:
- you can access your course any time and work as long as you like
- you will be able to meet your instructor and other classmates,
since some of the sessions will be held in a Century College classroom
