ESOL Center
Our ESOL Center assists bilingual and multilingual students in adjusting to college academic and social life.
ESOL students can get help with:
- vocabulary development
- note taking
- writing
- grammar
- reading
- listening & speaking in English
- American culture
The Center also offers:
- ESOL tutoring
- study groups
- contact with English-speaking volunteers
- a place to meet other students
The ESOL Center consists of a state-of-the-art digital language lab, computer lab, and study space. The ESOL lab assistant and peer tutors
are also available to help students connect to appropriate resources in the college, such as the
Intercultural Club, financial aid, and multicultural activities.

ESOL Advocate
Our ESOL Advocate is available to help any non-native English speaker at Century College,
even if you have never taken ESOL classes. If you are struggling with any aspect of college–classes,
studying, registration, financial aid–and don't know where to go, please visit the ESOL Advocate.
We can answer your questions and guide you to the right places on campus to get the help you need.
