The Reading/Student Success Center is committed to providing individual students with reading support services that enable them to have success at Century College and beyond.

Location & Hours

Location: W3250
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 6 pm
Friday – 4 pm
Closed: Saturday, Sunday and non-school days


  • Free tutoring, particularly in Reading and New Student Seminar course work (drop-in or scheduled appointments available)
    • Skills enhancement in all subject areas
      • Reading
      • Study skills and note taking
      • Test preparation and test taking
      • Critical reading and thinking
    • Book checkout
      • Contemporary fiction and nonfiction
    • D2L support
    • Quiet study space for individuals or groups

      • Reading & New Student Seminar texts

      • Dictionaries, including ESL & Longman

    NOTE: Student IDs are required to receive services.
