Determine your career direction
Are you undecided about your career direction or major? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Explore your options further by taking one or both of the following career assessments:
Strong Interest Inventory (SII)
- Compares your interests with those of people in a broad range of occupations.
- Does not measure abilities or aptitudes.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
- Measures personal preferences that influence your learning and work style.
- Understanding your style can improve your education/career planning, performance, and satisfaction.
Taking the assessments
Follow these three steps to take the assessments:
- Pay the testing fee at the Business Office (Room 2340 - West Campus).
SII = $7.80 and MBTI = $9.65 (Current or returning Century College students).
Note: If you are not a Century College Student check out the Career Clinic through Continuing Education.
- Bring the receipt to the Counseling and Career Center, Hours (M-Th 8am to 7pm, Fri 8am to 4pm), to schedule a required hour appointment with a counselor, who will interpret your assessment results.
