From idea to reality
Engineering 1020 – Special Assignment
Engineering 1020 students were given a project assignment to design and create a device
which would demonstrate how mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy.
In addition, the students were required to demonstrate their projects to an audience of
of middle school students who speak English as a second language.
The projects were designed so that students could see the conversion of energy via the use of lights, fans,
motion, or meters.
