Graduation ceremony
Century College has one graduation ceremony each year in May. You may walk in the spring ceremony even
if you apply to graduate in fall or summer semesters.
The ceremony will take place on May 17, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood.
Caps and Gowns
Caps, gowns, tassels, and diploma covers are purchased at the Century College bookstore or online for approximately $35.
Honors cords and medallions are handed out in the bookstore when graduation regalia is available or after check-in at the ceremony.
Honors are given for the following:
- High Distinction (medallion) 3.75–4.0
- Distinction (cords) 3.5–3.74
(Certificates are not eligible.)
Phi Theta Kappa
If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), be sure to indicate that on your graduation application.
Members can purchase a Phi Theta Kappa graduation stole and tassel in the bookstore when caps and gowns are
available. Members planning to purchase PTK regalia must first get a permission slip from
Wade Warner,
Chapter Advisor, room W2466, 651.779.3329.
Graduation guests
You are welcome to invite family members and friends to your graduation ceremony. Guest seating is limited.
Each graduating student will receive a maximum of 5 tickets for guests.
