GPS Lifeplan Achievement Program

The GPS Lifeplan helps Century students design plans and goals for success. Through our engaging eFolio and GPS workshops, you'll learn about our five plans for self-discovery and development.

The GPS LifePlan Achievement Program offers you the opportunity to explore, engage, and excel. We offer:

five foundational certificate programs, each focusing on a different element of the GPS LifePlan
three higher-level Engagement Certificates

Benefits

Participating in our achievement programs will provide you with more meaningful and engaging college experiences while attending Century. In addition, you can earn a certificate in one semester or spread it out over several semesters.

Celebration and Recognition

You'll receive your certificate(s) at the annual Wood Duck Awards banquet in the spring, when we recognize and celebrate our student leaders.

Foundation Certificates

Orange – CareerPlan

The CareerPlan foundation certificate allows you to explore yourself and careers, discover the best way to market yourself and learn about campus resources.

Required Workshops: Resume and eFolio

Yellow – EducationPlan

The EducationPlan foundation certificate helps you find the right tools to be the best student you can be. You'll develop your long-term academic plan, as well as the skills to balance it all.

Required Workshops: Time/Stress Management and DARS

Green – FinancePlan

The FinancePlan foundation certificate provides insight into protecting your identity, saving money, and finding creative ways to finance your education.

Red – LeadershipPlan

With the LeadershipPlan foundation certificate, you'll strengthen your leadership abilities both inside and outside the classroom, along with expanding your knowledge on diverse issues.

With the PersonalPlan foundation certificate, you'll learn tips to improve balancing your life, school and work.

Engagement Certificates

Our Engagement Certificates allow you to connect and build skills in multiple areas of your life, reflecting on your past experience and looking toward your future.

Bronze

Complete 2 required workshops from 2 different LifePlan areas
Complete and submit a reflective summary (1 page, double-spaced, 12 pt font, 1 inch margins)

Silver

Complete 2 required workshops from 4 different LifePlan areas
Complete and submit a reflective summary (1 page, double-spaced, 12 pt font, 1 inch margins)

Gold

Complete 2 required workshops from 5 different LifePlan areas
Complete and submit a reflective summary (1 page, double-spaced, 12 pt font, 1 inch margins)
