Looking for chances to develop your leadership skills? At Century, we offer several opportunities for you to shine!

Leadership Development Programs

Leadership Institute

The Leadership Institute is an eight-week program designed to challenge, enhance, and develop personal, professional, and career-related skills.

The program starts the fifth week of fall and spring semesters.

Participants take the StrengthsQuest© assessment and learn how to apply this in leadership. Ethics and values are explored.

Participants leave the Institute with a strong grasp of their strengths, along with a leadership philosophy.

GPS LifePlan Workshops

Throughout the semester, D.U.C.K.S. Leadership sponsors workshops as a part of the GPS LifePlan. While the workshops vary each semester, past topics have included role modeling, body language, leadership philosophies, and many other subjects.

A variety of leadership workshops are offered this semester. Consult the GPS LifePlan for more details.

Team Building

Outdoor Initiatives

An engaging and exciting program, our outdoor initiatives program provides experiential learning opportunities for our students and employees.

A trained facilitator tailors specific activities to your group, which may include icebreakers, problem solving, communication, low-ropes challenges and conflict resolution.

This program also utilizes the woods on the south side of West Campus. Some of the activities are permanent; others will be set up using the natural surroundings.

D.U.C.K.S. Leadership is offered for classes, departments, clubs, and programs for an hour time frame for a whole day. We will create opportunities to develop student and employee leadership.

Leadership Toolbox

Leadership Library
