Each semester, we set aside a day to support and celebrate student success. This is an all-day extravaganza of
opportunities, workshops and events to connect and succeed.
Returning students — you know what this is all about! New students, join us! We have exciting events for you.
Wide Variety of Activities
Events include:
- opportunities to meet with your professors
- workshops
- keynote speaker, with a lunch to follow
- open houses
- College Transfer Fair
- Resource Fair
We offer more than 120 sessions to choose from, with topics ranging from study skills, stress management,
applying for scholarships, and more. Workshop sessions begin at 8 am. (Bring your student ID).
There are also on-line sessions (Adobe Connect) that you can participate in either on or off-campus.
GPS LifePlan Events
Century faculty encourage our students to develop their individual
GPS LifePlans (GPS: Goals + Plans = Success.).
You'll have plenty of opportunities to learn more about the different aspects of the GPS LifePlan, including:

- LeadershipPlan
- PersonalPlan
Connect sessions
We use a tool called Adobe Connect to simultaneously stream a few of our sessions over the Internet.
Adobe Connect allows you to view real-time sessions as if you were in the room for each presentation.
Adobe Connect directions are available in the Student Success Day Schedule.
