Each semester, we set aside a day to support and celebrate student success. Student Success Day
provides time for you to meet with your teachers to discuss your academic progress.
Prior to Student Success Day, our faculty will use the college's Early Warning System to let you know
if you are not progressing in a given class. You will be expected to meet with your instructors on Student Success Day
to address concerns.
In addition, you'll have the chance to attend a variety of sessions and activities
that support your success.
Century College faculty encourage our students to develop their individual GPS LifePlans.
(GPS stands for Goals + Plans = Success.) Our Student Success Day schedule
provides opportunities to focus on conferences, sessions, and activities for any
or all of the following dimensions of the GPS LifePlan, including: CareerPlan, EducationPlan, FinancePlan,
LeadershipPlan, and PersonalPlan.
Connect sessions
We use a tool called Adobe Connect to simultaneously stream a few of our sessions over the Internet.
Adobe Connect allows you to view real-time sessions as if you were in the room for each presentation.
