Students,

acting VP Ron Anderson

Welcome to Student Success Day! Once again, we are pleased to organize an entire day around you and your academic career.

Join us for sessions that will reinforce areas where you excel, as well as those areas which challenge you. Student Success Day is a community event, and we hope you'll find your time is well spent, whether you sharpen your study skills, meet with your instructors, or work on your GPS LifePlan.

As usual, we'll be using our Early Warning System in conjunction with Student Success Day. When participating instructors observe that you may be having difficulty in their classes, they will send you a letter regarding their concerns. You will then be encouraged to take action, such as visiting with your instructors on Student Success Day.

Not all faculty will send letters, so we encourage you to meet with each of your instructors prior to Student Success Day to assess your progress and see if you should focus on particular challenges. Faculty members are also available for individual student conferences during Student Success Day.

Whatever challenges you face or whatever you may need, I hope you will take the time on Student Success Day to sit back and reflect on your academic career.

We are here to celebrate your academic accomplishments, and to help you find the resources you may need to overcome challenges.
