Earn College Credits in High School
Our Tech Prep policy for
earning credit supports a partnership between Century College and Northeast Metro Career and Technical Center
that provides high school students the opportunity to participate in programs that prepare them to advance into
the postsecondary educational system and employment.
Tech Prep links four years of high school with at least two years of postsecondary education, which
may lead to an associate degree or technical occupation certification.
Time and Money Savings
By earning college credit while in high school, students make a smooth transition to college by not duplicating
coursework. They save time, along with money on tuition and textbooks.
