History and Mission
Since 1973, the Foundation has promoted commitment and financial support to the college. In 1996, the Foundation's name was changed from Lakewood Community College Foundation to Century College Foundation, to reflect the consolidation of Lakewood Community College and Northeast Metro Technical College.
The Foundation's mission is to help transform and enhance the lives of our diverse student population by providing educational opportunities, financial support, and advocacy – one student at a time.
The Century College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to providing financial support to the students of Century College. The Foundation also accepts private gifts and donations.
