others, Century's Chemical Dependency program may be right for you.
Our program will prepare you for work as a chemical dependency counselor, and is designed to meet
state guidelines and prepare you for the written and oral examinations required by law.
Please note: As of July 1, 2008, a bachelor's degree is required to become a licensed
alcohol and drug counselor.
Certificate
Individuals who have received a bachelors degree may receive a certificate in Chemical Dependency
Counseling.
Articulation agreements
Students completing the A.S. degree may transfer to a four-year college or university. Century has an
Articulation Agreement with Metro State University.
