Are you interested in how people make decisions on how much to work or what to buy? Or do you wonder what criteria people use to determine how much money to save and invest? If so, then the Economics program at Century College could be for you.
Economics is the study of how society manages its' scarce resources. And, how individuals ascertain what purchases they will make and how much money to save or invest. In this interesting and challenging program, you will gain new insights into how individuals, firms and government agencies make their decisions and how these decisions affect our domestic and global economy.
You'll learn about inflation, unemployment, the banking system, economics growth, distribution of income, international trade and international finance, investment decision and government policies. Discover the critical impact that economics has on our lives!

Flexible learning options
We offer three economics classes in the transfer curriculum: Principle of Macroeconomics, Principle of Microeconomics and Statistics for Business and Economics. The classes are offered during the day, evening, online and Saturday.
