Program description
The French program at Century College gives you the tools necessary to learn and become fluent in the French language. To successfully learn a language and feel confident in speaking it, you need to practice pronouncing it well.
To establish a strong foundation for all skills, we focus on French vocabulary and grammar, including listening, speaking, writing, and reading. We achieve this goal by having language laboratory resources, including native speakers for conversation practice to supplement class activities. Beyond the core element of language, we teach and discuss cultures around the French-speaking world, focusing on how French language influences the culture.
