At Century College, we value physical fitness and healthy lifestyles. Our passionate and enthusiastic instructors have a genuine concern for your health and wellness – both inside and outside the classroom.
Not only are our instructors excellent, but so are our state-of-the-art fitness facilities. They include a fitness center, fitness trail, gym, golf practice area, football/soccer fields, and a softball/baseball field.
The Health, Physical Education and Sports Facilities Management Program offers a variety of courses to give you contemporary and applicable skills, which can be adopted and used throughout your life.
We serve the entire student body and offer courses required for AA degrees and a variety of certificate programs. You can earn an AAS degree in Sports Management or a Certificate in Sports/Athletic Facility Maintenance, Golf Course Management/Maintenance, or Ice Arena Management.

Financial aid and scholarships
Physical Education, Health, and Sports Management Scholarship
Purpose: To recognize students pursuing a career in Physical Education, Health Education or Sports Management by supporting the educational goals of highly motivated students dedicated to these fields.
Amount: $1,000 prorated between fall and spring semesters.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be pursuing a degree concentrating in the area of Physical Education, Health Education, and/or Sports Management.
- Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Applicant must be enrolled for a minimum of twelve credits during each semester the award is received.
- Applicant submits a personal letter outlining her/his career goals and how this award would help achieve these goals.
- Applicant submits a written recommendation from a member of the Century College Health/Physical Education department, high school coach, counselor, health or physical education instructor.
