ACE Program

Modeled after national program

Century College's ACE program is modeled after a highly successful national program based in Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix's ACE (Achieving a College Education) Program is located in ten U.S. colleges and 37 high schools.

ACE programs serve thousands of students annually.

Reduces high school dropout rates

Begun in 1988, the ACE initiative was created to battle large dropout rates in urban high schools.

Similar dropout rates exist in the Twin Cities metro area. During the past three years, more than 40 percent of students who enter the ninth grade do not finish high school on time.

Successful track record

ACE programs have a successful track record of preventing students from dropping out of high school and encouraging those students to attend college.

At Century, we have seen those successes with our own PACE students.
