PACE Community

Postsecondary education is required for success in today's economic environment and global economy.

Century's PACE program provides the opportunity and support students need to succeed in a changing workforce.

Outcomes

Here are the outcomes for our first group of PACE students:

  • 96% course completion rate
  • 90% of grades earned have been 'C' or better
  • 100% of students graduated high school
  • 100% are enrolled or accepted into college

In summer 2007, the second cohort of PACE students began, and has posted a 93% credit completion rate with 91% of students earning a grade of ā€˜C’ or better.

During the summer of 2008, three new groups began, and these students are posting equally impressive grades and completion rates.

Partners

The PACE program partners with local high schools and community organizations to encourage students to complete high school and pursue higher education. Working together, we empower young people to become successful, productive members of our workforce and our community.

To better serve our students, we have partnered with:

  • East Metro Integration District (EMID)
  • Neighborhood House, and their College Access Resource Center (St. Paul Community Center)
  • St. Olaf College Gear Up Program, serving students in Harding High School
  • YWCA-St. Paul
