Career and Technical Programs

Century College offers certificates, diplomas, Associate in Applied Science (AAS), and Associate in Science (AS) degrees in programs that prepare students for employment in over 40 high demand fields. Programs range in length from three months to over two years.

Liberal Arts and Sciences Transfer Degrees

Century College offers associate degrees that prepare students to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor's degree in almost any major or degree.

Associate in Arts degree - The AA is a general education degree for students intending to transfer into a bachelor's degree program. It transfers to all MnSCU schools, the University of Minnesota, plus many private and out-of-state schools.

Associate in Fine Arts degree - The AFA is designed for students who plan to transfer to another college or university to complete a bachelor of fine arts degree.

Associate in Science degrees - The AS degrees are designed for students who wish to balance liberal arts education with career-oriented courses. These programs prepare graduates to transfer to a four-year college or university and provide the skills and knowledge for specific career employment.

Century College partners with many colleges and universities that offer Bachelor's degrees which can be completed entirely on Century's campus, online, or at a nearby metro-area location.

Associate in Arts (AA) Degree: The Associate in Arts (AA) Degree is a general education degree for students intending to transfer into a Bachelor's degree program. It transfers to all MnSCU universities, the University of MN, plus many private and out-of-state schools.

Career/Technical Programs: Many career and technical degrees can apply toward Bachelor's degrees in applied science, applied management, or individualized studies fields.
