HESI A2 Admission Assessment Exam
The HESI A2 Pre-Admission Exam is an online computerized exam that will be taken at
Century College. This exam will assist in admission by providing a reliable
evaluation of students’ academic ability prior to entering the Nursing Program.
Exam scores will be used for selection criteria for admission.
NOTE: All applicants to the Century College Nursing Program will be required to
take the Admission Assessment Exam prior to the November 1st (Mobility) and February 1st
(Traditional) application deadlines.
Step 1 – Reserve exam testing session
Reserve a seat for one of the test dates/times (located at Century College). After you have completed the reservation, please print the test date and time information from the web page and save for future reference.

Step 2 – Register at the Evolve/Elsevier website
(After completing Step 2, return to this page to click the blue link in Step 3.)
Please follow the next steps from the Evolve/Elsevier website:
- Click the green box "Register for Evolve Testing and Remediation"
- Enter Evolve username or create a new user account
Password Tip: Do not use any special characters in the password
- Register for the exam.
Step 3 – Purchase test at the Evolve/Elsevier website
- Please click here to Purchase your HESI A2 - version 1 exam:
- Continue payment with credit card.
- Print the payment receipt and bring to the testing appointment.

NOTE – Re-taking the HESI A2 test
If you have already taken the test once and need to retake it, you will need to register again for a test date and pay for the
HESI A2 - Version 2 exam. To make your payment for Version 2, click
here to login to Evolve. Then click on the "
Exams & Remediation" link where you will be instructed to complete the required payment information.
