About the Program

Century's comprehensive program offers you an overview of the profession, from accounting practice fundamentals to advanced accounting principles. It offers the opportunity to study the basics of accounting or continue on and study more advanced accounting principles. Century's accounting program prepares you for a variety of positions, from an entry-level job as a clerk to a manager in an accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll department. This is important because the professionals who have the skills and abilities to do a wider range of bookkeeping and accounting activities will be in greater demand than specialized clerks.

All new students must apply and be accepted to the college, take the college assessment test and attend an orientation prior to attending classes at Century College. Some programs have an additional application (i.e. Nursing, Radiologic Technology, etc.). Admission has become highly competitive for some programs and the college may not be able to admit all students who meet the minimum admission requirements for the program. Consult with an Admissions Representative or the Program Guide/application for further information. If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office.
