The humanities are the study of the creative contributions made by individuals from many cultures throughout history. Century College's Humanities Program encompasses a wide spectrum of courses that focus on the creative legacy of humankind, including:

• Literature
• Music
• Dance
• Visual Art
• Theatre
• Media
• Film
• Philosophy
• Mythology
• Religion

The scope of each area is broad, stretching from prehistoric times to the frontiers of cyberspace. In each course, you'll have the opportunity to discuss and analyze representative creative works from both a historical and a cultural context.

All new students must apply and be accepted to the college, take the college assessment test and attend an orientation prior to attending classes at Century College. Some programs have an additional application (i.e. Nursing, Radiologic Technology, etc.). Admission has become highly competitive for some programs and the college may not be able to admit all students who meet the minimum admission requirements for the program. Consult with an Admissions Representative or the Program Guide/application for further information. If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office.
