About the Program

To what extent are our attitudes shaped by the media, government, schools and our family? What barriers still exist to full equality between the sexes and why? These are just a few of the key questions you will explore in Century's Gender Studies program. Our Gender Studies program will help you learn about yourself as you explore new ways of looking at the world and reflect on your beliefs, values, actions, and relationships.

This nationally-recognized academic program will foster your intellectual curiosity and will:
  • complement any major or career path intellectually and professionally through the perspectives and skills gained in Gender Studies courses.
  • help you acquire highly-valued knowledge and skills such as public speaking, writing, critical thinking, and an expanded world view.
