Economics is the study of how society manages its scarce resources, and how individuals ascertain what purchases they will make and how much money to save or invest. In this interesting and challenging discipline, you will gain new insights into how individuals, firms and government agencies make their decisions and how these decisions affect our domestic and global economy. You'll learn about inflation, unemployment, the banking system, economic growth, distribution of income, international trade and international finance, investment decision and government policies. At Century, you'll discover the critical impact that economics has on our lives.
