The 3D Modeling and Animation AAS degree prepares students for 3D content development careers throughout a variety of industries including Game Development, Film and Visual Effects, Forensic and Medical Animation, and many others. This program provides the comprehensive skills of 3D animation, modeling, texturing, visual effects, concept art, and character rigging that can be used in a variety of applications. Emphasis is on providing the valuable technical, conceptual, and design skills necessary for those wishing to obtain a position as a 3D artist.
Century’s accounting program prepares you for a variety of positions, from an entry-level job as a clerk to a manager in an accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll department. The Accounting Transfer Pathway Degree has been carefully designed so that you can transfer to a Minnesota State university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
The Addiction Counseling program is designed for career opportunities in entry-level positions in the field of chemical dependency counseling. You will be prepared for the written examination, which is required for state licensure.
This program prepares students to work as applied digital technologists in industries where manufacturing processes utilize systems of control and automation. Graduates of the Additive and Digital Manufacturing program may develop and test industrial process control systems, supervise the building and testing of prototypes including 3D printing and bioprinting, and work in the rapidly growing IoT (Internet of Everything) field.

The Associate in Fine Arts Degree (AFA) is a two-year transferable degree that empowers and prepares students for the rigor of a four-year Art or Design Bachelor of Fine Art or Bachelor of Art Degree. The AFA Fine Art degree curriculum resembles the first two years of a baccalaureate Art or Design degree at a 4-year college or university ensuring smooth transition to our transfer partner institutions. (60 credits)
The Automotive Body Technician Diploma program is designed to expose students to all facets of the auto body industry: unibody and frame, computer estimating, damage analysis, refinishing and major structure repair.
The Automotive Service Technician Diploma program prepares students to perform automotive repairs in the following areas: engine repair and diagnosis, cooling system, emission control, computer systems, fuel injection, engine performance maintenance, air conditioning and automatic transmission/transaxle.
This laboratory-based program focuses on human cell 3D and 4D bioprinting of human tissues and organs, design of synthetic and natural biomaterials, and development of biomarkers for tissue maturity and organ function.
Biology examines life at the molecular, cellular, organismal, and environmental levels. Students can pursue Biology as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree or as part of a Transfer Pathway program.
Century College offers a Business Transfer Pathway Associate in Science (AS) degree and a Business Management Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree.
Chemistry courses at Century help students learn about the structure of atoms and molecules, the states of matter, and the principles of chemical reactivity, as well as how scientists think. Students can pursue Chemistry as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits) or complete the Chemistry Transfer Pathway Degree, which transfers to a Minnesota State university.
Students can pursue Chinese as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits).
This degree starts the student on the path to becoming an information systems professional. Coursework is designed to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, in conjunction with gaining broad-based, hands-on programming experience and proficiency.
This program introduces students to the skills related to the analysis, design and development of information systems. Complete the Computer Science Transfer Pathway Degree for transfer to a Minnesota State university.
The Computer Technology Support and Administration program prepares the student to be able to analyze enterprise organizational information needs, to recommend appropriate hardware and software systems, and to implement or to train others to implement such systems.
The Cosmetology program provides you with an affordable education to prepare you for an exciting career in the Cosmetology industry with particular focus on nail care, skin care, hair styling, coloring, cutting, and more.
As a Creative Writing student at Century College, you can explore fiction, poetry, screenwriting, and creative nonfiction in a supportive community. The English-Creative Writing Certificate offers preparation if you wish to study Creative Writing at a four-year institution, but also complements career goals which demand skills in editing, critical thinking, and cooperation. This program provides a concentrated course of study in creative writing as part of the AA, AS, or AFA Degree of your choice.
This program helps prepare students for the rigors of the criminal justice profession and advancement of knowledge of the criminal justice system. Program curriculum includes criminal law and procedure, policing, investigation, corrections and juvenile justice.
Century College’s Cybersecurity and Cloud computing program prepares students for careers in Cybersecurity, information assurance, computer incident, investigation, cyberspace ethics and computer law.
The Dental Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a dental assistant in private dental offices, HMO clinics, public health institutions, dental supply and insurance companies, military dental services, and dental school clinics.
The Dental Hygiene Program provides knowledge and skills necessary to gain licensure and to practice as a dental hygienist.
From atmospheric processes, geologic principles, oceanography, and the energy systems that drive them, students gain new insights and understanding of the world through Century College’s Earth Science courses. Students can pursue Earth Science as an AS degree or as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree.
The Education program provides both the foundation for upper division coursework for those planning to become teachers, as well as opportunities to earn either a certificate or associates degree in Paraeducation. Complete the Elementary Education Foundations or Special Education Transfer Pathway Degree for transfer to a Minnesota State university.
The Century College Emergency Medical Service (EMS) program began in 1972 with Minnesota’s first state-approved EMT program, and the following year, we offered one of the region’s first paramedic programs.
This certificate will prepare the entry-level Emergency Medical Technician, or EMT, for direct employment in an emergency ambulance service, basic transport service, an emergency room, police department, security department or fire department.
The Associate in Science in Engineering is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree program in one of the following engineering fields: aerospace, biomedical, bioproducts & biosystems, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, geological, material, mechanical, and general engineering.
In the Engineering CAD Technology Associate in Applied Science degree program you will use Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CAD) systems to create engineering drawings. Emphasis is placed on mechanical drafting standards, components and design for manufacturing.
Century’s English Department offers a range of courses to meet your academic and transfer goals, including: literature, creative writing, and composition. All students are valued, so we work to provide the academic support that is right for you. You can study English as a Transfer Pathway Degree and you can also pursue an English-Creative Writing Certificate.

The Facilities Maintenance Engineer program prepares students to obtain employment as a commercial building maintenance engineer. Courses and training incorporate classroom and hands-on instruction, preparing students for employment in a wide range of commercial facilities, including office buildings, hotels, hospitals, community centers and college campuses, with emphasis given to advanced facility systems, automation, controls and energy management.
The Graphic Design & Production Program at Century College prepares students to use a creative design process to develop ideas into clear and purposeful communication that informs, markets and promotes. Using a hands-on approach, students develop the skills and confidence to take a variety of publications from concept to finished product. Projects include corporate identity, packaging, publishing, advertising, signage, and information graphics.
This program provides students a broad base of general education coursework relevant to the field of health sciences, in preparation to transfer to a broad array of health sciences majors at a college or university. This degree program is designed to fulfill health science baccalaureate requirements at all Minnesota State system universities offering related degrees.
Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, commonly called HVAC, is the service and installation of heating and cooling equipment. The main emphasis is on domestic, with some instruction on light commercial.
In this hands-on educational program, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the attitudes, thoughts and feelings of working as a human services generalist and gain direct experience with human service consumers and agencies through internships and class experiences. Complete the Pre-Social Work Transfer Pathway Degree for transfer to a Minnesota State university.
Humanities is the study of the creative contributions made by individuals from many cultures throughout history. Students can study Humanities as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits).
The Individualized Studies awards include those that are undeclared, students that have earned some credits but did not complete an award, transfer students with credits that may not have equivalent Century credits, students that wish to explore more than one program, and student with experience that may result in credit for prior learning.
In the Interior Design program, students will develop a strong foundation in all facets of interior design, including sustainable and eco-friendly design, residential design, design elements, color theory, and decorating. The Mental and Behavioral Health Worker Certificate provides psychology coursework that applies to a variety of entry-level careers in mental health.
This program is a focused, two-year study of music that includes music theory, ear training, sight singing, music history, the study of a specific instrument or voice, and ensemble participation.

Century College, in collaboration with the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE), offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, with an Associate of Science in Nursing awarded part way through the program.
