    Students can pursue Anthropology as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits).

    The Associate in Arts degree (AA) is intended primarily for students who plan to transfer to another college to complete a bachelor's degree.

    The awards available in Communication Studies, including a Certificate and an AA (part of the Minnesota Transfer Pathways) prepare students for the demands of communication-rich workplaces.

    The Dental Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a dental assistant in private dental offices, HMO clinics, public health institutions, dental supply and insurance companies, military dental services, and dental school clinics.

    The Dental Hygiene Program provides knowledge and skills necessary to gain licensure and to practice as a dental hygienist.

    Students can pursue Economics as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits).

    The Century College Emergency Medical Service (EMS) program began in 1972 with Minnesota's first state-approved EMT program, and the following year, we offered one of the region's first paramedic programs.

    This certificate will prepare the entry-level Emergency Medical Technician, or EMT, for direct employment in an emergency ambulance service, basic transport service, an emergency room, police department, security department or fire department.

    Century College's Gender Studies program will help you learn about yourself as you explore new ways of looking at the world and reflect on your beliefs, values, actions, and relationships. Students can pursue Gender Studies as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits) or a certificate.

    The Health and Physical Education department at Century College offers a variety of courses to give you contemporary and applicable skills. Students can study Health as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits).

    This program provides students a broad base of general education coursework relevant to the field of health sciences, in preparation to transfer to a broad array of health sciences majors at a college or university. This degree program is designed to fulfill health science baccalaureate requirements at all Minnesota State system universities offering related degrees.

    At Century College, knowledge gained from history can provide new insights and perspectives to help you understand yourself and the role you play in humanity. Students can study History as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits) and part of the Minnesota State Transfer Pathway degrees, leading directly to a Bachelor's degree.

    The Medical Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a professional, multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in patient care management. The medical assistant performs clinical, laboratory, and administrative skills in clinics, doctor offices, and other health care agencies.

    Century College, in collaboration with the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE), offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, with an Associate of Science in Nursing awarded part way through the program. The program is designed as four years of full-time study, with the first two semesters devoted to prerequisite/preparatory courses required for admission to the nursing program.

    Students who earn the Orthotic and Prosthetic Fitter Associate in Applied Science degree will meet the requirements to be employed as an Orthotic Fitter.

    The Orthotic Technician program will prepare you for entry into the field of orthotics at the technician level. Didactic and laboratory coursework is combined with individualized instruction in the areas of lower limb, upper limb and spinal.

    The Paramedic Fire Science degree at Century College is unique - integrating the roles of emergency medical services and firefighting into emergency response practice. It is an innovative, flexible degree option with a significant portion of the classroom education delivered through online learning.
