    The 3D Animation AAS degree prepares students for 3D animation careers throughout a variety of industries including visual communications, 3D game design, entertainment, forensic animation, and 3D medical animation.
  • Business pathway icon
    Century's accounting program prepares you for a variety of positions, from an entry-level job as a clerk to a manager in an accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll department.
  • Applied design pathway icon
    The Automotive Body Technician Diploma program is designed to expose students to all facets of the auto body industry: unibody and frame, computer estimating, damage analysis, refinishing and major structure repair.
  • Applied design pathway icon
    The Automotive Service Technician Diploma program prepares students to perform automotive repairs in the following areas: engine repair and diagnosis, cooling system, emission control, computer systems, fuel injection, engine performance maintenance, air conditioning and automatic transmission/transaxle.

    Century College offers a Business Transfer Pathway Associate in Science (AS) degree and a Business Management Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree.

    The Cosmetology program provides you with an affordable education to prepare you for an exciting career in the Cosmetology industry with particular focus on nail care, hair styling, coloring, cutting, and more.

    The Dental Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a dental assistant in private dental offices, HMO clinics, public health institutions, dental supply and insurance companies, military dental services, and dental school clinics.

    The Dental Hygiene Program provides knowledge and skills necessary to gain licensure and to practice as a dental hygienist.

    The Century College Emergency Medical Service (EMS) program began in 1972 with Minnesota's first state-approved EMT program, and the following year, we offered one of the region's first paramedic programs.
  • Health sciences pathway icon
    This certificate will prepare the entry-level Emergency Medical Technician, or EMT, for direct employment in an emergency ambulance service, basic transport service, an emergency room, police department, security department or fire department.
  • Applied design pathway icon
    The Facilities Maintenance Engineer program prepares students for employment in residential office buildings, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, community centers and commercial facilities with emphasis given to advanced facility systems and computerized maintenance management systems.

    The Filmmaking and Video Production AAS Degree trains students to work in a variety of video-related fields. The instruction stresses the importance of storytelling, planning, shooting, and editing, as well as motion graphics and effects.

    In the Graphic Design AAS degree, students will work with a creative process to develop ideas, use the technologies to develop those ideas into commercial projects, and through those, inform and influence specific audiences.

    This program provides students a broad base of general education coursework relevant to the field of health sciences, in preparation to transfer to a broad array of health sciences majors at a college or university. This degree program is designed to fulfill health science baccalaureate requirements at all MnSCU system universities offering related degrees.
  • Applied design pathway icon
    Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, commonly called HVAC, is the service and installation of heating and cooling equipment. The main emphasis is on domestic, with some instruction on light commercial.
  • Applied design pathway icon
    Nationally, horticulture is a major employer and includes jobs in garden centers, greenhouses, grounds maintenance firms, park systems sports complexes, and private grounds. Persons working in horticulture may also be self-employed. The Horticulture department offers a variety of awards including certificates, diplomas and degrees.

    In the Interior Design program, students will develop a strong foundation in all facets of interior design, including sustainable and eco-friendly design, residential design, design elements, color theory, and decorating. Interior Design students will also become proficient in drafting tools such as AutoCAD and Revit and skills such as marketing and sales.

    Kitchen & Bath Design is an NKBA accredited certificate program which prepares you for entry level and advanced positions in the Kitchen & Bath Design Industry. This program includes the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary for working in this specialized design area.

    Marketing is the business function that identifies unfilled consumer needs and wants, defines and measures their magnitude, determines which targeted market segments the business can best serve, and decides on appropriate products, services, and programs to deliver to them.

    The Medical Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a professional, multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in patient care management. The medical assistant performs clinical, laboratory, and administrative skills in clinics, doctor offices, and other health care agencies.

    Century College, in collaboration with the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE), offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, with an Associate of Science in Nursing awarded part way through the program. The program is designed as four years of full-time study, with the first two semesters devoted to prerequisite/preparatory courses required for admission to the nursing program.

    This Certificate is designed for individuals seeking employment in direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse in long term care, acute care and/or home care settings.

    The Office Technology program encourages an active, hands-on learning environment that helps you develop the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare you for tomorrow’s job market.

    The Medical Office program prepares you to perform key functions in almost any medical office environment. The medical office technology program prepares you for today’s medical office responsibilities with knowledge in medical terms and anatomy as well as keyboarding, word processing, communications, filing and interpersonal relations.

    Students who earn the Orthotic and Prosthetic Fitter Associate in Applied Science degree will meet the requirements to be employed as an Orthotic Fitter.

    The Orthotic Technician program will prepare you for entry into the field of orthotics at the technician level. Didactic and laboratory coursework is combined with individualized instruction in the areas of lower limb, upper limb and spinal.

    Paramedics possess the highly skilled techniques of advanced life support and emergency care procedures. The Paramedic program major meets the criteria for the education of paramedics as recommended by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

    The Web Design AAS Degree prepares students for careers in Web Design and front-end development, with an emphasis on creativity and design.

    Earning a Basic Welding Certificate will prepare students for entry level positions in the welding industries.
