The Automotive Body Technician Diploma program is designed to expose students to all facets of the auto body industry: unibody and frame, computer estimating, damage analysis, refinishing and major structure repair.

The Automotive Service Technician Diploma program prepares students to perform automotive repairs in the following areas: engine repair and diagnosis, cooling system, emission control, computer systems, fuel injection, engine performance maintenance, air conditioning and automatic transmission/transaxle.

As a Creative Writing student at Century College, you can explore fiction, poetry, screenwriting, and creative nonfiction in a supportive community. The English-Creative Writing Certificate offers preparation if you wish to study Creative Writing at a four-year institution, but also complements career goals which demand skills in editing, critical thinking, and cooperation. This program provides a concentrated course of study in creative writing as part of the AA, AS, or AFA Degree of your choice.

The Dental Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a dental assistant in private dental offices, HMO clinics, public health institutions, dental supply and insurance companies, military dental services, and dental school clinics.

The Dental Hygiene Program provides knowledge and skills necessary to gain licensure and to practice as a dental hygienist.

The Century College Emergency Medical Service (EMS) program began in 1972 with Minnesota's first state-approved EMT program, and the following year, we offered one of the region's first paramedic programs.

This certificate will prepare the entry-level Emergency Medical Technician, or EMT, for direct employment in an emergency ambulance service, basic transport service, an emergency room, police department, security department or fire department.

Century's English Department offers a range of courses to meet your academic and transfer goals, including: literature, creative writing, and composition. All students are valued, so we work to provide the academic support that is right for you. You can study English as a Transfer Pathway Degree and you can also pursue an English-Creative Writing Certificate.

Century's English as a Second Language (ESOL) classes are not just for college students; many students take ESOL classes for career and personal advancement. Students can study ESOL as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits) or for a certificate.

The Facilities Maintenance Engineer program prepares students to obtain employment as a commercial building maintenance engineer. Courses and training incorporate classroom and hands-on instruction, preparing students for employment in a wide range of commercial facilities, including office buildings, hotels, hospitals, community centers and college campuses, with emphasis given to advanced facility systems, automation, controls and energy management.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, commonly called HVAC, is the service and installation of heating and cooling equipment. The main emphasis is on domestic, with some instruction on light commercial.

Nationally, horticulture is a major employer and includes jobs in garden centers, greenhouses, grounds maintenance firms, park systems sports complexes, and private grounds. Persons working in horticulture may also be self-employed. The Horticulture department offers a variety of awards including certificates, diplomas and degrees.

The Medical Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a professional, multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in patient care management. The medical assistant performs clinical, laboratory, and administrative skills in clinics, doctor offices, and other health care agencies.

Century College, in collaboration with the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE), offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, with an Associate of Science in Nursing awarded part way through the program. The program is designed as four years of full-time study, with the first two semesters devoted to prerequisite/preparatory courses required for admission to the nursing program.

Students who earn the Orthotic and Prosthetic Fitter Associate in Applied Science degree will meet the requirements to be employed as an Orthotic Fitter.

The Orthotic Technician program will prepare you for entry into the field of orthotics at the technician level. Didactic and laboratory coursework is combined with individualized instruction in the areas of lower limb, upper limb and spinal.

Paramedics possess the highly skilled techniques of advanced life support and emergency care procedures. The Paramedic program major meets the criteria for the education of paramedics as recommended by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The Prosthetic Technician program prepares you for entry into the field of prosthetics at the technician level. Didactic and laboratory coursework is combined with individualized instruction in the areas of lower limb and upper limb.

The Radiologic Technology program is designed to prepare entry-level radiologic technologists who are capable of providing diagnostic medical images of patients in various types of medical facilities.

The Associate in Applied Science Degree will convey the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in traditional and renewable energy fields.

Earning a Basic Welding Certificate will prepare students for entry level positions in the welding industries.

This program prepares students to work as applied digital technologists in industries where manufacturing processes utilize systems of control and automation. Graduates of the Additive and Digital Manufacturing program may develop and test industrial process control systems, supervise the building and testing of prototypes including 3D printing and bioprinting, and work in the rapidly growing IoT (Internet of Everything) field.
