  • Applied Design Pathway
    The 3D Animation AAS degree prepares students for 3D animation careers throughout a variety of industries including visual communications, 3D game design, entertainment, forensic animation, and 3D medical animation.
  • Human services pathway icon
    The Addiction Counseling program is designed for career opportunities in entry-level positions in the field of chemical dependency counseling. You will be prepared for the written examination, which is required for state licensure.
  • STEM pathway icon
    This program prepares students to work as applied digital technologists in industries where manufacturing processes utilize systems of control and automation. Graduates of the Additive and Digital Manufacturing program may develop and test industrial process control systems, supervise the building and testing of prototypes including 3D printing and bioprinting, and work in the rapidly growing IoT (Internet of Everything) field.

    The Automotive Body Technician Diploma program is designed to expose students to all facets of the auto body industry: unibody and frame, computer estimating, damage analysis, refinishing and major structure repair.

    The Automotive Service Technician Diploma program prepares students to perform automotive repairs in the following areas: engine repair and diagnosis, cooling system, emission control, computer systems, fuel injection, engine performance maintenance, air conditioning and automatic transmission/transaxle.

    This laboratory-based program focuses on human cell 3D and 4D bioprinting of human tissues and organs, design of synthetic and natural biomaterials, and development of biomarkers for tissue maturity and organ function.

    Biology examines life at the molecular, cellular, organismal, and environmental levels. Students can pursue Biology as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree or as part of a guaranteed Transfer Pathway program.

    Chemistry courses at Century help students learn about the structure of atoms and molecules, the states of matter, and the principles of chemical reactivity, as well as how scientists think. Students can pursue Chemistry as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree (60 credits) or complete the Chemistry Transfer Pathway Degree, which guarantees transfer to a Minnesota State university.

    This degree starts the student on the path to becoming an information systems professional. Coursework is designed to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, in conjunction with gaining broad-based, hands-on programming experience and proficiency.

    The Cosmetology program provides you with an affordable education to prepare you for an exciting career in the Cosmetology industry with particular focus on nail care, skin care, hair styling, coloring, cutting, and more.

    This program helps prepare students for the rigors of the criminal justice profession and advancement of knowledge of the criminal justice system. Program curriculum includes criminal law and procedure, policing, investigation, corrections and juvenile justice.

    Century College's Cybersecurity and Cloud computing program prepares students for careers in Cybersecurity, information assurance, computer incident, investigation, cyberspace ethics and computer law.

    The Dental Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a dental assistant in private dental offices, HMO clinics, public health institutions, dental supply and insurance companies, military dental services, and dental school clinics.

    The Dental Hygiene Program provides knowledge and skills necessary to gain licensure and to practice as a dental hygienist.

    From atmospheric processes, geologic principles, oceanography, and the energy systems that drive them, students gain new insights and understanding of the world through Century College's Earth Science courses. Students can pursue Earth Science as an AS degree or as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree.

    The Education program provides both the foundation for upper division coursework for those planning to become teachers, as well as opportunities to earn either a certificate or associates degree in Paraeducation. Complete the Elementary Education Foundations Transfer Pathway Degree for guaranteed transfer to a Minnesota State university.

    The Century College Emergency Medical Service (EMS) program began in 1972 with Minnesota's first state-approved EMT program, and the following year, we offered one of the region's first paramedic programs.

    This certificate will prepare the entry-level Emergency Medical Technician, or EMT, for direct employment in an emergency ambulance service, basic transport service, an emergency room, police department, security department or fire department.

    The Associate in Science in Engineering is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree program in one of the following engineering fields: aerospace, biomedical, bioproducts & biosystems, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, geological, material, mechanical, and general engineering.

    In the Engineering CAD Technology Associate in Applied Science degree program you will use Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CAD) systems to create engineering drawings. Emphasis is placed on mechanical drafting standards, components and design for manufacturing.

    The Enterprise Computing Technology program prepares the student to be able to analyze enterprise organizational information needs, to recommend appropriate hardware and software systems, and to implement or to train others to implement such systems.

    The Facilities Maintenance Engineer program prepares students for employment in residential office buildings, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, community centers and commercial facilities with emphasis given to advanced facility systems and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Applied Design Pathway
    The Filmmaking and Video Production AAS Degree trains students to work in a variety of video-related fields. The instruction stresses the importance of storytelling, planning, shooting, and editing, as well as motion graphics and effects.
  • Applied Design Pathway
    In the Graphic Design AAS degree, students will work with a creative process to develop ideas, use the technologies to develop those ideas into commercial projects, and through those, inform and influence specific audiences.

    This program provides students a broad base of general education coursework relevant to the field of health sciences, in preparation to transfer to a broad array of health sciences majors at a college or university. This degree program is designed to fulfill health science baccalaureate requirements at all Minnesota State system universities offering related degrees.

    Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, commonly called HVAC, is the service and installation of heating and cooling equipment. The main emphasis is on domestic, with some instruction on light commercial.

    Nationally, horticulture is a major employer and includes jobs in garden centers, greenhouses, grounds maintenance firms, park systems sports complexes, and private grounds. Persons working in horticulture may also be self-employed. The Horticulture department offers a variety of awards including certificates, diplomas and degrees.

    In this hands-on educational program, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the attitudes, thoughts and feelings of working as a human services generalist and gain direct experience with human service consumers and agencies through internships and class experiences.

    This broad-based program of liberal, technical, and professional studies will prepare students for intelligent, effective, self-development in a complex and continually changing society. The Information and Telecommunications degree is designed to allow students to focus on a specialized area within the Information Technology field.
  • Applied Design Pathway
    In the Interior Design program, students will develop a strong foundation in all facets of interior design, including sustainable and eco-friendly design, residential design, design elements, color theory, and decorating. Interior Design students will also become proficient in drafting tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp and skills such as marketing and sales.
  • Applied Design Pathway
    Kitchen & Bath Design is an NKBA accredited certificate program which prepares you for entry level and advanced positions in the Kitchen & Bath Design Industry. This program includes the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary for working in this specialized design area.

    The Law Enforcement program is primarily designed to meet the professional and educational needs of students interested in becoming licensed peace officers.

    The scope of mathematics at Century College is broad, stretching from prehistoric times to the frontiers of cyberspace. Students can study Mathematics as part of a Liberal Arts and Sciences AA Degree or Mathematics Transfer Pathway Degree, which guarantees transfer to a Minnesota State university.

    The Medical Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a professional, multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in patient care management. The medical assistant performs clinical, laboratory, and administrative skills in clinics, doctor offices, and other health care agencies.

    The Mental and Behavioral Health Worker Certificate provides psychology coursework that applies to a variety of entry-level careers in mental health.

    Century College, in collaboration with the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE), offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, with an Associate of Science in Nursing awarded part way through the program. The program is designed as four years of full-time study, with the first two semesters devoted to prerequisite/preparatory courses required for admission to the nursing program.
