    Century's accounting program prepares you for a variety of positions, from an entry-level job as a clerk to a manager in an accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll department. Complete the Accounting Transfer Pathway Degree for guaranteed transfer to a Minnesota State university.
  • Human services pathway icon.
    The Addiction Counseling program is designed for career opportunities in entry-level positions in the field of chemical dependency counseling. You will be prepared for the written examination, which is required for state licensure.
  • Business pathway icon.
    Century College offers a Business Transfer Pathway Associate in Science (AS) degree and a Business Management Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree.
  • Human services pathway icon.
    This program helps prepare students for the rigors of the criminal justice profession and advancement of knowledge of the criminal justice system. Program curriculum includes criminal law and procedure, policing, investigation, corrections and juvenile justice.

    The Dental Assistant program is designed for career opportunities as a dental assistant in private dental offices, HMO clinics, public health institutions, dental supply and insurance companies, military dental services, and dental school clinics.

    The Dental Hygiene Program provides knowledge and skills necessary to gain licensure and to practice as a dental hygienist.

    The Education program provides both the foundation for upper division coursework for those planning to become teachers, as well as opportunities to earn either a certificate or associates degree in Paraeducation. Complete the Elementary Education Foundations or Special Education Transfer Pathway Degree for guaranteed transfer to a Minnesota State university.

    The Century College Emergency Medical Service (EMS) program began in 1972 with Minnesota's first state-approved EMT program, and the following year, we offered one of the region's first paramedic programs.

    This program provides students a broad base of general education coursework relevant to the field of health sciences, in preparation to transfer to a broad array of health sciences majors at a college or university. This degree program is designed to fulfill health science baccalaureate requirements at all Minnesota State system universities offering related degrees.

    In this hands-on educational program, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the attitudes, thoughts and feelings of working as a human services generalist and gain direct experience with human service consumers and agencies through internships and class experiences.

    The Law Enforcement program is primarily designed to meet the professional and educational needs of students interested in becoming licensed peace officers.

    Marketing is the business function that identifies unfilled consumer needs and wants, defines and measures their magnitude, determines which targeted market segments the business can best serve, and decides on appropriate products, services, and programs to deliver to them.

    Century College, in collaboration with the Minnesota Alliance for Nursing Education (MANE), offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, with an Associate of Science in Nursing awarded part way through the program. The program is designed as four years of full-time study, with the first two semesters devoted to prerequisite/preparatory courses required for admission to the nursing program.

    The Office Technology program encourages an active, hands-on learning environment that helps you develop the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare you for tomorrow’s job market.

    The Medical Office program prepares you to perform key functions in almost any medical office environment. The medical office technology program prepares you for today’s medical office responsibilities with knowledge in medical terms and anatomy as well as keyboarding, word processing, communications, filing and interpersonal relations.

    Students who earn the Orthotic and Prosthetic Fitter Associate in Applied Science degree will meet the requirements to be employed as an Orthotic Fitter.

    The Orthotic Technician program will prepare you for entry into the field of orthotics at the technician level. Didactic and laboratory coursework is combined with individualized instruction in the areas of lower limb, upper limb and spinal.

    The Paraeducator program is a pre-professional program providing an essential core of education courses and experiences. It prepares individuals for work as educational paraprofessionals.

    Paramedics possess the highly skilled techniques of advanced life support and emergency care procedures. The Paramedic program major meets the criteria for the education of paramedics as recommended by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

    The Prosthetic Technician program prepares you for entry into the field of prosthetics at the technician level. Didactic and laboratory coursework is combined with individualized instruction in the areas of lower limb and upper limb.

    This program is designed to provide an interdisciplinary approach for individuals already working in the field and those interested in pursuing career opportunities in public safety, which includes emergency medical services (EMS), firefighting, emergency management, dispatching/communications, leadership/management, and public safety education.
