3M Advanced Training Center - Saint Paul Public School Students

Students studying in the computer lab during class.

The 3M Advanced Training Center is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for Saint Paul Public School students interested in specific career pathways. In partnership with 3M, MinnState and Heart of America, this new program allows students from any SPPS high school to get hands-on experience in high-wage, in-demand careers.

Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to take courses from university faculty and/or adjuncts. Currently, courses are offered through Century College, St Paul College, Dakota County/Inver Hills CC, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Anoka Technical College, and Minnesota State Mankato.

Round-trip transportation is provided from the home high school to the advanced training center where courses will meet twice a week for an hour and a half. The center is located on the St Paul College campus. Talk with your guidance counselor if you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity.

You can also email concurrentenrollment@century.edu to connect you with someone in the program.

Century College offers students four courses in the Cybersecurity Forensics and Information Assurance program. Completing all four courses will give you 12 credits (almost an entire semester of college for free)! More information on the courses can be found here:
