We are excited you are interested in attending Century College to assist with your education. Our orientation team has provided you with the Online Orientation option. If you are a Non-Degree Seeking or non-Minnesota State Visiting Student you will need to complete the online orientation. To do this, you must provide the following to check that you meet Century College's assessment testing requirements and course prerequisites:
- Submit unofficial transcripts
To determine if you have completed transfer coursework that would waive you from completing all or part of the assessment tests, you must provide your transcript(s) from the college or university you previously attended. The process may take up to two weeks if sending your transcripts from another institution.
- Complete assessment testing if needed
All non-degree seeking and visiting students must meet Century College's assessment testing requirements for Reading, Writing, and Mathematics and course prerequisites prior to registering for courses at Century College.
Upon receiving your transcript(s), you will receive an email with a link to view Century College’s online orientation. Read the confirmation page at the end of the online orientation, as it contains important information about when you will be allowed to register for classes.
If you choose to complete the online orientation, you will be declining the right to meet with an advisor for course selection. If you need help choosing courses, please sign up for an on-campus orientation.
Expect your email to arrive just before your term of enrollment begins.
When will you start classes at Century? Expect your invitation to Orientation to arrive: Fall semester Beginning of May Spring semester Beginning of November Summer semester End of March
