As of August 2020, the Power of YOU program has merged with the IMPACT program.
At this time we are only accepting applications completed from the IMPACT page. Please click here to be directed to the IMPACT program page.
What is IMPACT?
The IMPACT program is a college access and support program for underrepresented students interested in attending Century College. The program supports students through fostering skills for academic success and personal growth in college and beyond. As part of the IMPACT program, students receive:
- One-on-one support from program coordinators
- Access and connection to campus resources
- Support from program peers
- Leadership opportunities
How is IMPACT different from Power of YOU?
Both IMPACT and Power of YOU are student support programs that are committed to helping students academically, professionally and socially. We accomplish this by providing individual advising sessions, academic and career focused workshops, and leadership opportunities on campus. With that being said there are two distinct differences in eligibility and financial support.
To be eligible, you must meet one or more of the listed qualifications:
- Pell Grant-eligible or undocumented student
- Student of color
- First-generation college student
You must also graduate from one of these school districts:
- Saint Paul Public Schools
- Roseville Area Schools
- Stillwater Area Public Schools
IMPACT Financial Support
IMPACT Coordinators will work with all students to complete the FAFSA or MN Dream Act and Scholarships to help cover the cost of tuition. IMPACT WILL NOT cover any remaining tuition balances after financial aid has been disbursed. Please reach out to the email@example.com with questions.
