General Education Courses
Century College offers hundreds of general education courses in the Liberal Arts & Sciences disciplines which transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC)
The MnTC consists of 40 credits of general education courses within ten goal areas. The courses transfer to fulfill all lower-division general education requirements at all Minnesota public 4-year universities, plus a number of private and out-of-state universities.
Associate in Arts Degree
The Associate in Arts degree (AA) is intended primarily for students who plan to transfer to another college or university to complete a bachelor's degree. It can generally be considered the first two years of a four-year degree program and includes the entire MnTC.
Associate in Fine Arts Degree
The Associate in Fine Arts degree (AFA) in Music or Art is intended primarily for students who plan to transfer to another college or university to complete a bachelor's degree. It can generally be considered the first two years of a four-year degree program.
Bachelor Degree Pathways
There are a variety of bachelor degree pathways available to you. Century College has formal agreements with many 4-year colleges and universities to ensure seamless transfer. Some bachelor's degrees can be completed entirely on the Century College campus.
