BIO
Hello, my name is Yessica Santana. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I am deeply committed to working with different communities to bridge the equity gap and provide culturally appropriate student support services that cater to the needs of our diverse student population.
During my tenure at Century College, I have had the privilege of working collaboratively with students, faculty, educators, and community members alike, to provide outreach, programming, and student support services. In addition, I oversee IME Becas and advise the Movimiento Latinx student association. I look forward to the prospect of connecting with you and exploring opportunities for us to work together towards our shared goal of promoting equitable and culturally responsive education.

BIO
As a fourth generation Minnesotan, Dr. Jay M Williams fights to make things work for all. A graduate of Princeton University, also holding two degrees from the University of Chicago, Dr. Williams’ career ranged across New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Chicago before returning home to Minnesota.
Serving youth and college students, his work spans across foundations, governments, and numerous college institutions. His recent stay at Minneapolis College brought the opportunity to create institutional change, publish an anthology of student, staff, and faculty narratives, and to win the 2019 Minnesota State Equity and Inclusion Leadership award.
After a time, consulting and teaching in multiple Minnesota prisons Dr. Williams is now a Multicultural Center Advisor and the Liaison for Blacks and African Americans at Century College.
