We offer innovative and up-to-date training programs to address the current and future needs of those in law enforcement, corrections, probation officers, private detectives and security personnel. Our courses meet the requirements of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) as well as providing continuing education units (CEUs).
Century College's Law Enforcement SLOT Program is exclusive to peace officer trainings and can either be purchased at a yearly, discounted rate or by individual class. Classes run September-June.
Interested in becoming a Law Enforcement Officer in Minnesota? Through a flexible, customized pathway, Century College offers individuals with a qualifying degree the opportunity to pursue the Professional Peace Officer Education (PPOE) online and/or in the classroom before taking the final semester of skills at an institution of their choice. Individuals will be offered a personalized advising session with Century College faculty knowledgeable in verifying the PPOE learning objectives required by the Minnesota POST Board.
