Virtual Center for Cyber Education
The Century College Virtual Cyber Center is designed to connect Century Students and its community to local and national cybersecurity, visualization and forensic information and resources. Our goal is to promote partnerships among our students and local community with government, private and academic networks to create an awareness campaigns and develop skilled practitioners in cybersecurity.
The Cybersecurity Virtualization and Forensics program has dedicated faculty that support students both in and out of the classroom by directing learning objectives and creating a community in which students and working professions connect. We accomplish this by inviting working professionals to meet with students through our mentor program, workshops and community events.
In 2013, Century College was one of the first 2-year colleges in the nation to achieve the National Centers of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence (CDFAE). The National Centers of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence (CDFAE) is a partnership between academia, standards bodies, and the US Government to establish best practices for digital forensics education. Education providers are held to digital forensics education standards based upon knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) used in the field.
