At the start of the play, young Proteus only has eyes for Julia. However, on a trip to Milan, one look at the cool and confident Silvia changes everything. Now Proteus is head-over-heels with his best friend’s girl, but Julia is determined not to fade into the background.

Competitive wooers, a cross-dressing heroine, and a nighttime escape make this, one of Shakespeare’s earliest plays, a fun adventure for all audiences.
