Fragments and Comma Splices and Run-ons, Oh My! Help Your Sentences Find Completion 9am 9:50am A sentence fragment, a "not enough" sentence. Makes your readers' job more difficult and less fun. In the other direction, two sentences can be mashed together in a comma splice or run-on, a "too much" sentence, a comma splice or run-on also can confuse and annoy readers. "The Medical Assistant: Is this the career for you?" 9am 10:30am Attend this session to learn more about the Medical Assistant Program. This program prepares you to become a multi-skilled professional who assists in patient care management. The program will help you develop the critical skills needed to perform clinical, laboratory and administrative duties in clinics, hospitals, urgent care facilities and other health care agencies. You will also participate in a clinical externship under the direct supervision of a physician.
