Experience: Sue has more than 13 years of experience as a nursing faculty at Century and has expertise in nursing practice in acute medical-surgical nursing, hospice nursing, and community health nursing.
Teaching Approach: Sue has a teaching style that reflects her passion for nursing; she strives to share that passion in ways that will inspire the new upcoming group of nursing students that will soon enter the nursing profession. She values the uniqueness of all human beings and has been influenced by time spent with nursing theorist Dr. Helen Erickson, who co-authored development of the nursing theory 'Modeling and Role Modeling'. Sue's main areas of interest are ethics in nursing and social justice concerns related to inequity in healthcare delivery in the United States.

Experience: Mr. Randall worked as a manufacturing engineer for AC Rochester a Division of General Motors in a high volume production facility. He also worked for a number of energy companies across the United States. He also owned his own Solar and Renewable Energy business here in Minnesota.
Teaching Approach: "We all agree that course content is important, but I like to work personal, academic and workplace skill development into every part of all of the courses that I teach. A few examples of this are: professionalism, dependability, speaking, teamwork, following directions, problem solving, etc. I really enjoy helping each student grow as a person through discussions and by assigning tasks that promote thoughts and planning of their futures."

Experience: Will Richardson is a cellist and teacher in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. He has performed with the Mill City Summer Opera, American Ballet Theater, Duluth-Superior Symphony, Evansville Philharmonic, Owensboro Symphony, Marion Philharmonic, and the Richmond Symphony, among many others. Aside from numerous classical performances, he has performed with pop acts such as The Who, Hanson, Evanescence, Lee Ann Womack, Weird Al Yankovic, Disturbed, Idina Menzel, Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. He was assistant principal cellist of the National Orchestral Institute and attended the Indiana University Summer Music Festival. Past performances include Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme, Vivaldi's Concerto for Two Cellos with the Century College Orchestra, and the complete cello sonatas of Bohuslav Martinu. Mr. Richardson is a co-founder and faculty member of North Star Cello Academy located in Roseville, MN, and instructor of cello at Century College in White Bear Lake, MN. His teaching experience includes, Bethel University, Hamline University, St. Joseph's School of Music, The College of Saint Benedict, and Ramsey International Fine Arts Center in Minneapolis. He has completed Suzuki Cello Teacher training through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Mr. Richardson has served as a judge for various local and national competitions such as WAMSO Young Artist Competition, Thursday Musical Young Artist Competition, and Mary West Competition.
Teaching Approach: "My primary goal as a teacher is to instill in my students an appreciation, interest, and dedication to music and the arts. I have experience teaching students of a variety of ages and experience levels. The teaching materials I use are dictated by the age and goals of the student. I use a mixture of 'traditional' materials and methods and as well as those of the Suzuki Method."
