October 12, 2023NEA Big Read is back at Century College Library for a second year. This event is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. This year’s NEA Big Read: White Bear Lake is a celebration of Ross Gay’s poetry book “Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude.” It is “a collection of 24 poems that focuses on gratitude through the rhythms and abundance of the natural world.” Amber Guetebier from White Bear Center for the Arts will be present to guide conversation and foster connection.
Free copies of the book, swag bags, coffee and candy will also be available.
