Did you know that Century students, faculty, staff and administrators get free access to the New York Times? Contents are accessible from 1851 to present, including breaking news, multimedia, reviews and opinion, blogs, videos and more! You can also find the New York Times on our Databases A-Z list under New York Times. Activate your FREE fiscal year 2022-23 Pass and then get access from anywhere. Pass holders can also access NYTimes.com and INYT.com on any device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) with a browser.

If you have an existing account, it will expire yearly. If you are renewing an existing account or are signing up for the first time, follow these steps for free access to NYTimes.com.

To activate your NYTimes.com Pass, follow these steps:

• On Campus : Visit https://ezmyaccount-nytimes-com.cenproxy.mnpals.net/grouppass
• Off Campus: https://login.cenproxy.mnpals.net/login?url=https://ezmyaccount.nytimes.com/grouppass/redir/  

1. Create a free account by entering your email as StarID@go.minnstate.edu (for students) or StarID@minnstate.edu (for faculty/staff) and creating a password.
2. Choose whether you are a student or faculty/staff.
3. You have successfully claimed a Pass when you see the blue Go to NYTimes.com box. Click there to access the NYTimes website.
4. Now you can enjoy full access by logging into your NYTimes.com account from any location or device.
5. Download your NYT apps by visiting nytimes.com/mobile.
