The Cosmetology program at Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, provides you with an affordable education to prepare you for an exciting career in the Cosmetology industry. The Century College Cosmetology program offers you incredible value. You will save thousands of dollars by earning your Cosmetology degree and/or diploma at Century College compared to private, for-profit colleges or beauty schools.
While attending the Cosmetology program, you will have unique opportunities to gain “real-world” experience while earning your education. Our on-site Cosmetology Salon 120 is open to the public, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of clients. The Cosmetology program also provides you the chance to take part in industry competitions and gain leadership training via the SkillsUSA program.

Nail Care Technician
The Nail Care Technician certificate at Century College is a short-term program that will prepare you for licensure as a Nail Care Technician. In the program, you will be instructed in nail care theory and practical application techniques, including:
- Shaping
- Polishing
- Massage of hands and feet
- Application of gel polish artificial nails
The completion of the Cosmetology degree, diploma, or Nail Care Technician certificate will prepare you for the State of Minnesota written exam and certification of skills as required by Minnesota cosmetology laws and rules for licensure.
