About the Program

This program provides students a broad base of general education coursework relevant to the field of health sciences, in preparation to transfer to a broad array of health sciences majors at a college or university. This degree program is designed to fulfill health science baccalaureate requirements at all Minnesota State universities offering related degrees.

The degree is designed to transfer to all Minnesota State universities offering related baccalaureate programs. Students must consult with both Century College and transfer university counselors/advisors early and often, for guidance and planning regarding the requirements of the various health sciences baccalaureate programs to facilitate the most efficient transition and transfer.

Metropolitan State University accepts the Health Sciences Broad Field, Associate in Science Degree in their Inividualized Studies Bachelor of Arts Program.

Capella University accepts the Health Sciences Broad Field, Associate in Science Degree to transfer to Capella's Business, Business Administration, or Health Care Management Bachelor of Science Degrees.

St. Mary’s University of Minnesota accepts the Health Sciences Broad Field, Associate in Science Degree in transfer to St. Mary's Bachelor of Science in Healthcare and Human Services Management.
