About the Program
Earning a Basic Welding Certificate will prepare students for entry level positions in the welding industries. Students will:
- Manipulate the power of fire and electricity to design and construct the metal products people use every day
- Join, cut, bend, and manipulate metal for industrial and artistic applications
- Work independently and in teams to troubleshoot and creatively solve a wide range of industry-based challenges
The certificate is a first look into welding, and can launch you into a career or prepare you for your next steps in education.
