About the Program

Earning a Basic Welding Certificate will prepare students for entry level positions in the welding industries.  Students will:

  • Manipulate the power of fire and electricity to design and construct the metal products people use every day
  • Join, cut, bend, and manipulate metal for industrial and artistic applications
  • Work independently and in teams to troubleshoot and creatively solve a wide range of industry-based challenges

The certificate is a first look into welding, and can launch you into a career or prepare you for your next steps in education.
