They will help keep you on track as you work towards completing your degree. Both counselors and advisors can assist you in developing both short- and long-term academic plans tailored to your unique needs. We can help you understand:

Academic Pathways Advisors & Counselors

All students are assigned an academic advisor or counselor by Academic Pathways. You are encouraged to meet with your academic advisor or counselor to create a long-term academic plan that maps out all of your classes for graduation. Your academic advisor or counselor will help keep you on track as you work towards completing your degree. We are committed to your success and want to assist you in reaching your academic and career goals!

Types of Meetings

Advising Drop-in Hours (15 minute meeting with an advisor)

The focus of advising drop-in is on questions that can be addressed in less than 15-minutes, like:

  • Questions about course placement scores and appropriate classes
  • Course registration questions
  • Changes in current semester schedule
  • Basic questions about add/drop/withdrawal
  • Graduation check (if one semester left before graduation)
